The short version
If you join the mailing list, we collect your email address so we can send news about Pagan Dating's launch, membership and occasional articles. We do not sell the list. We watch the door, not the room.
Pagan Dating is the controller of this information. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@pagan-dating.com.
What we collect
We store your email address, the date and time you gave consent, the version of the consent wording you agreed to and the page you used to sign up. We do not ask for your name, beliefs, dating preferences or profile information on this form.
Why we use it
We use the address only for the marketing you actively agreed to receive. Consent is our legal basis for sending those emails. Joining the mailing list is optional and is not a condition of using the public website.
How long we keep it
We keep your address while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal suppression record so we can honour that choice and avoid emailing you again by mistake.
Who receives it
The address is stored using our website infrastructure provider, Cloudflare. If we use an email delivery provider, it will receive only the information needed to send and manage the mailing list. We do not sell or rent your details.
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we require an approved transfer mechanism or another safeguard recognised by UK data protection law.
Your choices
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing us. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete your information, restrict how it is used, or provide a portable copy where the law gives you that right. You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything lawfully done before you withdrew it.
We do not use mailing-list information to make automated decisions about you or to create a dating profile.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and site measurement
The site uses privacy-focused traffic measurement to understand which pages people read. The mailing-list form does not use advertising cookies or build a dating profile about you.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if the way we use mailing-list information changes. This notice was last updated on 2 November 2026.
